A bit more about movies

I don't have one genre I like. It all depends on my humor.
When I wanna cry I watch "Boys on the Side" and "Fried Green Tomatoes".
When I wanna laugh I watch comedies, mainly parodies (but not Scary Movie - terible crap except the 3rd part). I remember when I was watching "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" I don't remember how many times I had to pause the movie to laugh out :). Love it.
When I want a stupid action movie I watch "XxX" 'cause it's stupid and has a lot of action and what's more Asia Argento is there :D.
My favourite horrors are those oldies made by George A. Romero, Wes Craven or Tob Hooper especially "The Night of the Dead", "People Under the Stairs", "Deadly Friend" (I cried at the end of this horror) and of course "Army of Darkness by Sam Raimi. I really hate new horror movies. They're not scary at all, well maybe except "Blair Witch Project" and Japanese version of "The Ring" 'cause the American version sucks.
My favourite comic based movie is "X-Men" but as I said in previous post I love "X-Men" and not only the movie but also comic. It makes you laugh, it makes you angry, it makes you cry. It's all there. And Emma Frost....wow, but unfortunatelly she's not in a movie :(. I hated "The Punisher" or "The Hulk" but I never liked those comics :).
My favourite animated movie are "The Ghost in the Shell" by Mamoru Oshii and "Neon Genesis Evangelion by GAINAX. Someone said that life ia a story. If it's true than "Evangelion" is my life. Also, I like "The Lion King" :) but Japanese animation rulez :).
From thrillers I think the best is "Natural Born Killers" by Oliver Stone. WOW! Also, "Kalifornia" by Dominic Sena (great Brad Pitt and Juliette Lewis).
Romantic movies are....hmmmm.... "Brokeback Mountain" by Ang Lee, "Where the Heart Is" by Matt Williams (awfully sweet but I love it). I can't recall more 'cause I don't like such movies :).
Historical movies are "Elizabeth" by Shekhar Kapur, "Joan of Arc" by Luc Besson (he lies about her life in this movie but it's good to watch) and more.
Sci-fi are "Star Wars" and "Star Trek" (ehh, captain Jean-Luc Picard) , Event Horizon", "The Planet of the Apes" (old version).
Fantasy? "Neverending Story", I think the movie is better than the book, but only the first part. "The Lord of the Rings" and... I just love fantasy so I guess almost everything :).
And finally serials. Hmm... "ER", "Xena:Warrior Princess" (a lot of subtext :D), "Alias", "Lost" and...that's all you need to know :).
O.K. that's it 'cause you probably are sleeping right now (I hope not) :). What can I say? I'm a movie addict and I could talk about it 24/7 :). Cheers.

P.S. I guess this is the longest post I've written :). Sorry for that.

I don't like war movies so I didn't give any :). OK maybe except "Enemy at the Gates". I didn't enjoy watching "Saving Private Ryan" (I fall asleep to tell the truth) and other war movies get me bored too, unless swords, knives and all knight stuff is used :). Yeah medieval rulez :). Cheers.
