Sunday

This one is dedicated to you. Thanks to you this Sunday won't be forgotten :*

Darius - Colorblind - video

Feelin' blue
When I'm trying to forget this feeling
That I miss you

Feelin' green
When the jealousy swells and it won't
Go away in dreams

Feelin' yellow
I'm confused inside a little hazy but mellow
When I feel your eyes on me

Feelin' fine, sublime
When that smile of yours
Creeps into my mind

Oh oh

Nobody told me it feels so good
Nobody said you'd be so beautiful
Nobody warned me about your smile
You're the light
You're the light
When I close my eyes
I'm colour blind
You make me colour blind

Feelin' red
When you spend all your time with your friends
And not me instead

Feelin' black
When I think about all of the things that
I feel I lack

Feelin' jaded
When it's not gone right
All the colours have faded
Then I feel your eyes on me

Feelin' fine, sublime
When that smile of yours
Creeps into my mind

Oh oh

Nobody told me it feels so good
Nobody said you'd be so beautiful
Nobody warned me about your smile
You're the light
You're the light
When I close my eyes
I'm colour blind
You make me colour blind

Blinded by the light you shine
The colours fade completely
Blinded by you everytime
I feel your smile defeat me
I'm colour blind
I just can't deny this feelin'

Nobody told me it feels so good
Nobody said you'd be so beautiful
Nobody warned me about your smile
You're the light
You're the light
When I close my eyes
I'm colour blind

Nobody told me it feels so good
Nobody said you'd be so beautiful
Nobody warned me about your smile
You're the light
You're the light
When I close my eyes
I'm colour blind

(You're the light
You're the light)
When I close my eyes
You make me colour blind

(You're the light
You're the light)
When I close my eyes
You make me colour blind

(You're the light
You're the light)
When I close my eyes
I'm colour blind...

The video sucks, but the song is beautiful... Cheers.

A bit of my poetry....again :)

Kiedy odejdziesz

A kiedy odejdziesz, zostawisz mnie samą
Zobaczysz jak kiedyś było nam dobrze.
Zapłaczę nad Tobą, utulę się w żalu
Nad rzeką Twoich i moich wspomnień.

I choć będziesz czekać, nie wrócę już nigdy,
Zostawię Ci kwiaty i kilka zdjęć.
wyjadę najdalej by nie być z Tobą
Choć będziesz płakać nie usłyszę nic.

I kiedy powrócę, odwiedzę Cię znowu.
Porozmawiamy jak kiedyś już
A później odejdę, zostawię Cię samą
Nad rzeką Twoich i moich snów....

God knows what this poem is about :). If you have an idea leave comment.

Ja

Ręce w kieszeni, schowane jakby przed światem
Wzrok wbity w zwykły miejski chodnik
Powolne kroki, pośpiech to bzdura
I wyraz oczu...

I wrote this poem when I was holplessly in love and I was pissed off :).

***
Jak pęk kwiatów rzuconych na trumnę
Tak wspomnienia o tobie też zwiędły
Odeszły w niepamięć i tylko czasami
Wyrywają się na zewnątrz spragnione wody.

I wrote it when I fall out of love.

Dla Ciebie

A wiec przyszłaś dziś w nocy
Ubrana w białą sukienkę
Idąc przez korytarz
Wpatrując się przed siebie.

Zapukałaś do mych drzwi
I otwarłam je
Choć lękam się tak bardzo.

I usiadłaś przy mnie
Nie rzekłaś ni słowa
A twój dotyk tak palący
Zamroził mnie

I smak owocu
Co pachnie tak słodko
Że aż skosztowałam go z ochotą.

A potem wyszłaś
Zamykając drzwi za sobą
Bo wstawał już świt

Go figure it out :)

Dream Came True

The fire is burning
We're lost in the show
People are cheering
I don't feel fear.

The show is over
Their clapping their hands
I leave the stage
And hide to calm down

The fire's still burning
Don't want it to stop
But I have no choice
The show can't go on.

After my first kiss...

Free Zone

directed by: Amos Gitai

screenplay by: Amos Gitai & Marie-Jose Sanselme

starring:

Natalie Portman - Rebecca
Hanna Laszlo - Hanna

Hiam Abbass - Leila

Hmmm…. My first impression after watching the movie? Too short. The movie that made me thinking. Why people from Israel and Palestine hate each other so much if they share the same problems? Can an ordinary person change something? My answer was no but you can try.

An Israeli woman, Hanna, is going through Palestine to Free Zone (it’s a neutral place between Syria, Saudi Arabia and Iraq) to get the money from American, who bought armored car her husband produces. A friend, young American Rebeka, is going with her after leaving her husband. This is just an ordinary trip but it leads through many problems.

The thing that struck me was that Israel and Palestine are not so different. People look similar, both countries are destroyed by an endless war, and everyone is trying to survive in this world. Hanna is sometimes rude but I guess that in such a world where everyday might be the last day she has to be tough.

All three characters, Hanna, Rebeka and Leila (who’s American’s wife and is traveling with Hanna to get the money for them) are so different but they have to cope with each other. Hanna, who is from Israel, doesn’t trust Leila, who’s Palestinian, and vice versa. The most opened is Rebeka, who’s American.

I really love the song that is at the beginning. Rebeka is sitting in car crying and looking through the window. For those 6 inutes I was thinking why is she crying. And I think she was crying over Israel, a country were she moved from New York, a country destroyed, a country where people are thought hatred to others. She thought of Israel as her home bur later she says that she’s gotta get out of this country. The song sung in Hebrew might sound stupid at the very beginning but the ending show what the song is really about.

The film is worth watching. It really made me thinking. And it made me sad, because this war will last as long as there is one Israelite and Palestinian alive. And this is the place where Christianity comes from… Cheers.

P.S. I left the words to the song in my previous post.

P.S.2. If you think roads in Poland suck, go to the Far East :)

Free Zone

My father bought it
For just two coins
The lamb! The lamb!
My father bought it
For just two coins
As the Haggadah relates

Along came the cat
And ate up the lamb
The dog choked the cat
That ate the lamb
That my father bought
For just two coins
The lamb! The lamb!

Along came the stick
To beat the dog
That choked the cat
That ate the lamb
That my father bought
That he bought
For just two coins
The lamb! The lamb!

Then came a fire
And burnt the stick
That beat the dog
That choked the cat
That ate the lamb
That my father bought
For just two coins
The lamb! The lamb!

Then water came
And quenched the fire
That burnt the stick
That beat the dog
That choked the cat
That ate the lamb
That my father bought
For just two coins
The lamb! The lamb!

Then came an ox and drank the water
That quenched the fire
That burnt the stick
That beat the dog
That choked the cat
That ate the lamb
That my father bought
For just two coins
The lamb! The lamb!

Along came a butcher and killed the ox
That drank the water
That quenched the fire
That burnt the stick
That beat the dog
That choked the cat
That ate the lamb
That my father bought.

Then came the Angel of Death
And slew the butcher
Who killed the ox
That quenched the fire
That burnt the stick
That beat the dog
That choked the cat
That ate the lamb
That my father bought
For just two coins
The lamb! The lamb!

Why do you sing, little lamb?
Spring isn't yet here
And Passover neither

Have you changed?
I have changed this year
And every evening,
Like each evening,
I have only asked four questions
But, tonight,
I have thought of another question
How long will this circle of horror last?

Tonight, I have thought of another question
How long will this circle of horror last?

Of persecutor and persecuted,
Of executioner and victim
When will this madness end?
What has changed this year?
This year, I have changed
I was a meek lamb
I have become a tiger and a wild wolf
I was a dove, a gazelle
Today, I don't know who I am

My father bought it
For just two coins
The lamb! The lamb!
Our father bought it
For just two coins
And everything is starting again…

Lamb

Lamb - Gabriel - this is a videoclip to one of my favourite songs ever. It's the first song I can listen to 24/7 and I'm not bored yet although I heard it about a year ago :). It's soft and brings such a peace... When I heard this song for the first tme I was shocked that somebody can sing so beautiful. Just listen and watch :) Cheers.

Letter Love

I've been watching "The Lake House" recently and I started to think is it possible to fell in love thru letters? Not knowing the person in real life, how he/she looks like... Do you think it's possible? Because I don't, but I may be wrong. Let me know what you think of it. Cheers.
