Little Miss Sunshine

Meet Hoover family:
Olive - 7 year old kid dreaming to win Little Miss Sunshine contest
Richard - father of the family trying to sell his book about how to become successful in life
Dwayne - 15 year old dreaming of becoming a jet pilot in the army, because of that he decided not ot talk at all
Edwin - the grandpa, old junkie reading porno magazines
Sheryl - mother, I think the most 'normal' person in the family
Frank - Proust expert, who tried to kill himself.

Sound crazy and it is crazy, but in a very nice way. The whole family lives in Albaquerque but they decide to go to Kalifornia whent they find out that Olive was accepted to take part in Little Miss Sunshine contest. She's 7 and a bit overweight but she believes she'll win. Her talent is dancing and her grandpa teaches her moves in secret (her performance during contest is one of the best scenes in the movie).
It's a road movie where everyone in the family will learn something and I guess we also will. It's a comedy but not a stupid one. It's a movie that makes you think but will also of course make you laugh (When you see this old VW bus that you have to push before the engine starts to work you'll laugh very loud :)).
When Iwas watching this movie I thought "where the hell such people get from?" but then I realized that my family is also very strange but I just don't see it and I guess that everyone of us has relatives that are a bit 'crazy'.
"Little Miss Sunshine" is nominated to an Oscar award and I hope it'll win because of all those movies only 'The Queen' might beat this movie.
I had a great time watching the movie and this is the movie that stays in mind. So go to the cinema, buy it on DVD or just downlaod it from the Internet (but it's a piracy ;D) and have fun.Cheers :).
