Oscar Night!!!

Well, the time has come to see who's the winner and loser in Hollywood. I guess this is the first time in my life I've seen all nominated movies :).

"Little Miss Sunshine" - my type :). I'm not gonna write about this movie because you can read an earlier post on my blog.

"Babel" - this is also my type. Very good movie about lack of communication between people. Brad Pitt played wonderfully and he looks great with those grey hair and wrinkles on his face. It's a big mistake that he wasn't nominated and Leonardo diCaprio was.

"The Queen" - very good and intersting. It's great to look inside the Buckingham Palace and see the 'secret' life of the queen of the UK but it's just not an Oscar movie.

"The Deaprted" - I don't wanna see this crap ever again. I guess the Academy nominates Martin Scorsese everytime he makes a movie just to make laugh at him. Don't get me wrong, I do respect Scorses and I love "Raging Bull", "Taxi Driver", "GoodFellas" or "The Last Temptation of Christ" but "The Gangs of New York, "Aviator" or this year nominated "The Departed" just suck. I think Scorsese made them just to finally get an Oscar. If he wins this year it'll be a huge mistake because this movie is nothing interesting (watch the original Chinese version "Infernal Affairs" - that is good).

If it comes to actors and actresses well Forest Whitaker (actor in leading role), Alan Arkin (actor in supporting role), Helen Mirren or Kate Winslet (actress in leadin role), Adriana Barraza (actress in supporting role).

So yeah... let's see who's the Hollywood's favourite :]. Cheers
